Keep Living...
My good friend and incredibly talented artist Drew Melton posted some of the in process pieces and uses of the Keep Living logo he did a while back for me. I’m honored to have this piece not only as a tattoo but to use for the project. Go be amazed at his work if you don’t know him already!

Madness...
Before the new year I had a crazy idea to bring 12 drummers with full drumsets into the studio for a night of madness. It was amazing to have such talent and diversity of style in the same room. Big thanks to all the guys for being a part of this!

New look...
Get a hair cut and a real job… or so that’s what they say. I figured it was time for a much needed change in more ways than one so I made the decision to go visit the lovely Kelsey Zahn to chop off the locks for a fresh start a while back. New look and more new updates in the works for the new year.

Absolut inspiration...
I’ve been lucky enough to get the occasional message from younger photographers that admire some of my work, and I have to say that it is not only flattering but very inspiring. Every time one of these comes in I always get more motivated to push my work, and to try even harder to give back to younger photographers. New York...
I headed out to the big apple last week for some meetings which went really well. It was great to meet some new photographers, show the work, and get out on the road again. I always get inspired when I head out on a road trip and this was no exception.

Ride...
I’ve been so lucky to be able to do a ton of riding this summer with some good friends. The shot above was taken on our Labor Day trip in which we were lucky enough to get our hands on some Mercy Leather bags. Looking forward to putting the leather on and getting a few colder weather runs before the snow hits.

Last month I got together with the beautiful Ashley Cole to do some SUP shots at sunrise. We had a perfect morning, glass calm water all to ourselves and a great sunrise, what more could you ask for.

Just getting around to posting this, but here’s a cover shot that was used for Creative Play Retailer Magazine’s August issue. This shoot was for Kickboard USA and was so fun ripping around on these scooters for a few days with the kids. Work and play...
Lots of work and at least a little play recently. With the last few weeks being pretty full of things to do, a couple friends came down to the shop a couple days ago for a few drinks and “skating”. It was a nice stress reliever and reminder that every now and then it’s good to put the work down for a few and have some fun.

Busy Busy...
On the road again this time a quick trip to upstate New York for a shoot. Always fun traveling and seeing new places, though I am already excited for warmer weather. I’ve been working on some plans for a few trips and some fun shoots. In the meantime here’s a shot from earlier today leaving a cold Michigan once again.
